ENGR 44 lab 13 Shubo C (high/low pass filter)

The data ffrom our group is off to much, so I use the data and pictures from other group.



Set up 

The H can be represent by Vout / Vin

When the frequency increase, the H decrease, and reach zero.

Max value,high-pass filter. It is determined by f, after a certain f, it decreases, not cannot see the curve after 10000

Conclusion: the lab is easy to do, but the calculation of the real question of finding H(w) is much more complicted. 


ENGR 44 lab 14 Shubo C bandwidth and signal (edit)

We did this lab in group of 5 people.
For this lab, our goal is to determine the B of the circuit, and compare experiment value with calculat value.

Conclusion: Group of three people can learn more I think, not five. 

The higher resistance and capacitor, the less frequency, the less bandwith, from the formula, the frequency is propotion with bandwith.

Engr 44 lab 12 Shubo C ( edit)

AC voltage behave with a capacitor.


Coclusion: the capacitor was about 4uF around. And the graph show that as frequency increasing, the voltage of the capacitor drops. Watching lab is fun as usual.

ENGR 44 Lab 10 computer Shubo C


Conclusion: Not hard

ENGR 44 Lab 9 Shubo C (edit)

Before decide the values of these components, the expressions for the Thevenin voltage and resistance for charging and discharging circuits were calculated.

Set up

Conclusion: feels like the practice problems helps more than the lab.

ENGR 44 Lab 8 Shubo C

The images of the wave displayed. The red one is the input waves, and the yellow one is the output.


Conclusion: this lab is the easiest lab i have ever been doing. Only take some pictures, and it is fun because saw different shape waves.

Conclusion: the important thing is that we do not hv Vref, so we use another power supply and resistance to do it perfectly, the idea to replace is good.

ENGR 44 Lab 5 Shubo C

Doing calculation to look for R(th)
Found out R(th) = 66 ohm
Set up the circuit to look for V(th)

Found out V(th) =9.07v

Found out ideal V(th) = 8.35v

Really close to 9.07v, and the dofference is less than 4%.

Conclusion: this lab is not hard, but it is useful to practise the skill to find the thevenen Voltage and Resistance. Doing the calculation is messy, but after 2 times, we got the value data.
